Selling Points: 1979 MGB carefully maintained. Purchased in 2007, the car has 114,500 original miles, and since it was purchased, the engine has been completely rebuilt, a moss remanufactured O/D transmission was installed, and a moss supercharger with new carburetor as well. The engine rebuild included: new pistons and rings; Crane performance camshaft and lifters; aluminum cylinder head; ceramic coated header; Pertronix distributor and ignition coil; timing chain set; all new gaskets; new clutch kit; water pump; and Aluminum valve cover to top it off. The brakes include cross-drilled slotted rotors; Hawk brake pads; new stainless braided brake lines; rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders. The car has a rear tube shock conversion and 5 mini-lite style wheels with chrome LE lugs.
Condition: The body was stripped to bare metal and repainted black clear coat, base coat. There is no rust anywhere on this car. All new rubber seals on the body, and new Chrome mirrors as well. The interior was replaced with a light tan deluxe interior from Moss Motors. A 14" tourist trophy steering wheel and a burl wood dash trim kit set including a new console top off the interior. The car has crystal clear headlights as well as a new Robbins top and tonneau cover and a custom top cover. The trunk is carpeted with a spare tire cover as well. This MGB is ready to go anywhere you want. It is completely sorted out and drives like a dream. Offered for sale at $12,500 with an investment well over $18,000.
